This is not always an easy thing to do. I have bought inexpensive skylight filters in the past mainly for lens protection, but did not want a cheap Neutral Density filter. This filter by B+ W came highly recommended for quality workmanship and glass, so I decided it was just what I needed.
It arrived in excellent condition and even before the estimated delivery date ! Immediately I could feel the quality by the weight of it and how securely the glass fit inside the metal ring. The brass construction and fine threads easily screwed into my 72mm camera lens and the separate 67-72mm step-up ring I purchased to adapt to other smaller diameter lenses.
This filter also came in a clear, square plastic container with foam inserts that will easily fit in my camera bag. The filter is dark enough to create a decrease in 10 f-stops, so even in... Read more
