First off, this is a circular polarizer which is needed instead of a linear polarizer if you want to polarize while using auto focus on a digital camera. Next is lens flare. It does a pretty decent job here.. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5. Definitely better than cheaper polarizers. All right now to the real stuff. I tested to make sure this is a circular polarizer and it definitely is. Given that, this works great. I can shoot one picture and not see through a window because of reflections. I can rotate the polarizer and shoot again and see no reflections at all. It's a 5 star on its polarizing ability. As far as I can tell, the image quality is not degraded at all by this polarizer. It is like have nothing in front of your lens. It does reduce like by about 1-2 stops. Overall it works great. I am going to try it with the canon 16-35mm which is 82mm.
